As an Apprentice Data Analyst (Wastewater Network Modelling), you’ll learn how to:

  • produce plans and schedules using geographic information systems (GIS) to support the modelling team
  • look after the network model library database to ensure the status and location of all models are recorded and managed
  • identify, collect and move data to and from a range of internal and external systems
  • how to build network models using GIS and modelling tools
  • manage the exchange of data and ensure quality assurance procedures are followed, whilst working with our survey framework contractors
  • manipulate and link different data sets as required
  • Perform database queries across multiple tables to extract data for analysis
  • Your apprenticeship will last 24 months, and successful apprentices will achieve a Data Analyst, Level: 4 standard, endorsed by the Institute for Apprenticeships.
