Skills Show Postponed for COVID Safety
The Liverpool City Region Skills Show is an interactive event for anyone thinking about becoming an apprentice. Exhibitors have been designing their stands to provide lots of activities for visitors to try. To keep visitors safe from COVID infection the Skills show is being moved to the beginning of March 2022.
The Liverpool City Region Skills show is going to be a memorable event. Good things are worth waiting for. With such a wide range of interactive activities across most of the exhibitor’s stands the show has been postponed to March 2022. “It was a difficult decision to make given exhibitors have worked hard to plan activities and visitors have been looking forward to it. However we want the visitor experience to be safe and as interactive as possible. With current COVID infection rate’s rising across the Liverpool City Region we believe the most responsible thing to do is hold on for a while. By March we anticipate that herd immunity to the new variant will have been established and the show will be the interactive event we have intended it to be,” explains Melanie Dodd, Apprenticeship by Be More Skills Strategy Manager.
So, this March get ready to bank lots of memories at the Liverpool City Region Skills Show created by Apprenticeship Support by Be More. All the exhibitors are gearing up to create interactive experiences on their stand that will tempt you to consider apprenticeships and different careers. From being a top hairstylist for models and celebrities to riding and training horses, you can get the scissors out and hop into the saddle to see which you prefer.
The event will now be held on 1 and 2 March 2022 at Exhibition Centre Liverpool. A twilight session will take place on 1st March. The main day for group visits will be on 2nd March. All group visitor bookings are still valid and have been transferred automatically to the same time on 2 March 2022. The Apprenticeship Support by Be More Team will be in touch with all schools shortly to answer any questions. Twilight session bookings have also been transferred automatically.
“We want visitors to be inspired to take up an apprenticeship in a career that they will love. However, some people may have a natural aptitude or fall in love with a career that they have never considered. Part of the visitor experience at this skills show is to get people finding out and trying out things that they may never have experienced before. We are now looking forward to a great Skills Show in March,” says Mel Dodd, Apprenticeship Support by Be More Skills Strategy Manager.
