NEWS Flash: Six Matalan Apprenticeship roles available
Matalan have just announced they’re recruiting new apprentices. There are six roles available and Apprenticeship Support by Be More wanted you to be some of the first to know about it and spread the word.
So, here is the heads up straight from Matalan:
As part of their Early Careers Strategy, Matalan is set to inspire the next generation of talent in retail with six new apprenticeship roles across the business.
The new roles will provide opportunities across Buying and Merchandising, Finance and Imports, offering a great alternative to college or university.
Garry Barnes from their Early Careers Team said: “At Matalan, we’re super passionate about inspiring and nurturing the next generation of talent, to help shape the future of our business, and retail. These exciting new opportunities are perfect for any young person looking to kick start their career, through one of our high-quality apprenticeship programmes. Whilst on the programme, they will achieve a fully funded industry recognised qualification, and develop skills for the future, all while earning a competitive salary.”
The roles will be going live on Matalan’s recruitment channels week commencing 8th February, with the successful candidates due to join the business from July 2021. Matalan have three virtual insight sessions running week commencing 15th February, on Zoom, which again will be supported by social media posts:
- Buying & Merchandising Admin Assistant: Monday 15th February @ 6pm
- Imports and Customs Admin Assistant: Tuesday 16th February @ 6pm
- Finance Apprentice: Wednesday 17th February @ 6pm
