Early Years Educator Apprenticeship

We are looking to recruit an early years apprentice. The successful candidate will be supporting the provision in our nursery. Working across 4 rooms with children 0-4, assisting with the general day-to-day work of the setting under the close direction of the Nursery Team/Manager.

Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:

• The Level 3 Apprenticeship for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator) prepares learners to become Early Years Educators, enabling them to work with children from birth to 5 years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years

This qualification is structured around the following four themes:

• Health and well-being
• Legislation, frameworks and professional practice
• Play, development and learning for school readiness
• Professional development
• You will also complete a Paediatric first-aid qualification, and Functional Skills in maths and English if required.

The training will take place within the educational setting with no day release required to college and you will have regular reviews with your tutor every 4 – 6 weeks.

Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level before taking the end-point assessment.
